7th Grade Computers This class is being offered to many 7th graders first semester. Students learn how to navigate the school network and learn computer skills related to the Microsoft Office Applications as well as keyboarding. Emphasis is given to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel. Students also learn how to search the Internet Safely and efficiently. Since not all students have computers at home there is no homework for this class. If students miss class or need more time to complete assignments I can assist them before or after school. Creating a Website in Contribute Digital Photography Students will learn the foundations of digital photography, as well the principles of photographic design. Students will apply this knowledge using their cameras to capture images from school, the community, nature and at home. Students will also learn the basics of image editing and manipulation using computer software. ART Mrs. Nelson and I are job sharing both Junior High and High School Art. Mrs. Nelson is teaching on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I am teaching on Monday and Friday. Mrs. Nelson, due to her extensive background in art is taking the lead in setting the agenda, and teaching the concepts, techniques, and principles of art.
