HEALTH AND FITNESS: First Semester has ended! There will be some roster changes, but we still need to finish our discussions and projects about the body as a high performance machine. We will review our first semester information and then carry on! We will be on our schedule of Activity on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and Health instruction on Tuesday and Thursday. Our first project will entail tracking daily activity and comparing Calorie use and Calorie Intake. We encourage you to make food chices based on the new food pyramid:
WEIGHTS AND CONDITIONING: Those lifters continuing from first semester will start a new 16 week program with the weights they finished up with last semester. New lifters will complete the Pre-Workout test and start their own 16 week program. Students currently involved with athletics will lift 2 days a week with competition days off. Out of season athletes will lift Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Tuesdays and Thursdays will be Jumping program days. We will continue to use the Air Alert II program. Newbies will start with Air Alert II and veterans will start Advanced Air Alert.
TEAM SPORTS: Almost done with our No Dribble series.
Junior High PE: Also nearing completion of our No Dribble series.
